Buy Neutrogena T/Gel Shampoo online

Trying to get rid of common dandruff with a regular shampoo is almost impossible and if you are trying to treat psoriasis and seborrhoea dermatitis in the same manner, you are practically doomed to fail. For treating such conditions, you need a medicated shampoo such as Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo.

Neutrogena T/Gel Shampoo information

Dandruff and conditions like psoriasis and seborrhoea dermatitis don’t respond to the common shampoo alone. Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo with coal tar, a keratoplastic, slows skin cell growth and helps the scalp shed dead cells. It reduces symptoms of dandruff and other scalp conditions.

This product is regularly prescribed by medical practitioners and can be used to treat other rashes such as eczema, chronic exudative dermatitis, and atopic dermatitis. With regular use, Neutrogena T/Gel can help keep these conditions under control.

To aid hydration of your skin, drink plenty of water. Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo is a medicated shampoo that effectively treats hair and scalp disorders. Unlike most medicated shampoos, it has pleasant smell and will leave your hair feeling clean and shiny.

Read the following warnings to ensure you are selecting an appropriate product.

Do not use this product:

  • In children under 12
  • If you have had a reaction to coal tar or any active or inactive ingredient in this product.
  • On broken or inflamed skin.
  • As a treatment for a rare, severe form of psoriasis known as erythrodermic or pustular psoriasis.

Avoid contact with eyes

Coal tar may cause sensitivity to the sun; avoid direct sunlight immediately after treatment.

In rare cases blonde, bleached or tinted hair may become slightly discoloured by use of this product.

Some of the ingredients can cause reactions;

propyl (E216) parahydroxybenzoate and methyl (E218) may cause delayed allergic reactions.

Esters of benzoic acid, butylated hydroxytoluene (E321), and benzyl benzoate can cause irritation to the skin and mucous membranes.

Please read all packaging and the Product Information Leaflet before taking any new medications and inform your doctor of medications you take or intend to take.

Wet hair. Massage liberal amounts of Neutrogena® T/Gel® Therapeutic Shampoo into scalp. Leave lather on scalp for several minutes. Rinse. Repeat treatment. Rinse again. If there is no improvement after 6 weeks, speak with your doctor.

This medication is formulated for use on the hair and scalp only. Avoid contact with your eyes, mouth, nose, rectum or groin. If you do get the medication in those areas, flush the area with cool water for 15 minutes. Wash hands after use. Do not apply the product to broken or infected skin unless directed by your doctor.

To avoid contact with your eyes, keep your eyes closed while shampooing and cover them a washcloth or towel. Use this product twice a week or as directed by your doctor. Dosage is based on your medical condition, response to treatment, and the product type/brand. Do not use this medication in large amounts, use it more frequently, or use it for a longer period than recommended. Your condition will not improve faster, and you may increase your risk for developing side effects.

Seek immediate medical advice if your skin condition persists or worsens, if it covers a large area of skin, or if you think you may have a serious medical problem.
